Find Your Fit

Spirit has always felt that a business holds a responsibility to support their local community whether it is monetarily, or through volunteer work. It’s deeply ingrained in our company culture to give back to our local community. Spirit’s Humanitarian Committee provides opportunities for our team to volunteer and get involved in local organizations. For the past six years, the Houston office has partnered with Reach Unlimited, Inc. to volunteer as well as host events with their clients. Reach’s mission is to provide services to those with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. They focus on helping their clients live, learn, and earn, through a variety of services they offer. Throughout the years, we’ve grown close with Reach and their clients and love being able to support the services they provide.

I attended our annual Holiday Party with Reach just a few weeks after my first day at Spirit and it is still my favorite event. This year may look a little different than years past, but we aren’t letting COVID-19 stop us from supporting Reach. For me, a trip to Reach is never complete without stopping by their giftshop to purchase handmade glass ornaments for gifts every year! We look forward to finding new, safe ways to continue our partnership with Reach as our Humanitarian Committee navigates supporting our communities during this pandemic.
