Denver’s Humanitarian Committee recently collected donations to help support Denver Public Schools Homeless Education Network.  Colorado school districts have experienced a spike that has almost doubled in enrolled student homelessness due to the pandemic. When students are identified as homeless, they are automatically enrolled in programs to assist with meals, clothing, school fees, and transportation. Our committee donation provided emergency food assistance cards, scientific calculators, blue light blocking glasses, personal dry erase boards and markers, tissues, and reusable water bottles. Spirit is proud of the Denver Humanitarian Committee for continuing to support their community!
