Houston’s Sustainability Committee recently organized a tour at the FCC Environmental Services facility. This facility is designed to process over 120,000 tons of recycled material per year. While visiting, our team members learned how recycled waste goes from residential bins to packaged sorted recyclables. The FCC recycling facility sorts, recovers, and markets the city of Houston’s recyclable material while utilizing innovative ways to sort including two robots that increase efficiency!
