Last week, our RMR Sustainability Committee had the opportunity to tour Eco-Cycle’s Center for Hard-to-Recycle Materials (CHaRM) facility in Boulder, CO. Eco-Cycle is one of the oldest mission-based recyclers in the US, that works to advocate and innovate local and global Zero Waste solutions in ways that are equitable for everyone. While touring, our team got to learn about what kinds of materials can be recycled and how hard-to-recycle materials are processed. They also got to check out the Boulder Recycling Center to see where and how regular recycling is sorted!
