Brad Herrin

CEO & Co-Founder of Spirit

Brad co-founded Spirit Environmental in 2005 after owning his own consulting firm. He brought with him over 15 years of experience in assisting industry with environmental issues, particularly in the area of air quality. His areas of expertise are air permitting, compliance, due diligence/audits, and litigation support. His primary clients consist of chemical, petrochemical, refining, and energy companies. He also has experience in the manufacturing, coatings, and materials handling industries. Brad has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a master’s degree in environmental engineering from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.

Today, Brad’s role is significantly different than it was when he founded Spirit. He has transitioned from a technical expert to a leader whose primary responsibilities include guiding the company culture and business strategy, and creating successful career opportunities in a growth-driven atmosphere. As an owner, Brad also diligently works to ensure the financial health of the company, and build/sustain great partnerships and relationships with customers and employees. Brad has a knack for putting people in the right situations at the right time to help make them successful.

Why do you like working at Spirit?
Free snacks in the kitchen. OK, seriously…I love working at Spirit because I get the opportunity every day to recruit and work with some of the smartest, most passionate, and enjoyable individuals I have been associated with in my entire career.
