Rebeca began her career in accounting and finance in 2008. She has worked in various industries, including oil & gas, manufacturing, and real estate, where she handled intercompany accounting, treasury, auditing, and month-end closing procedures. As Accounting Manager at Spirit, Rebeca manages accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and other functions related to financial aspects of the company. Based on her wide range of experience, Rebeca has streamlined processes and ushered in an era of improvement and change at Spirit, including new software implementation to enhance company efficiency.
A native of Mexico City, the vibrant and multi-cultural melting pot that is Houston was a natural fit for Rebeca to call home. She attended the Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston where she earned her degree in Business Administration and Accounting. Rebeca enjoys traveling which has led to her passion for learning about different cultures and the appreciation of new ideas.
