The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has renewed the Texas Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (TPDES) Construction General Permit (CGP), TXR150000, effective March 5, 2023.  Existing permittees will have until the end of the day June 5, 2023 to renew their authorizations by submitting a renewal Notice of Intent (NOI) or Low Rainfall Erosivity Waiver application using the TCEQ’s online permitting system in State of Texas Environmental Electronic Reporting System (STEERS).

Spirit has vast experience with construction permitting support needed to maintain compliance.  Whether you are a new construction project that needs guidance obtaining permit coverage, or an existing site looking to update your Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWP3), we can help.  If you are unsure how the CGP renewal may affect your facilities, reach out to our Compliance Team.
